Finding The Filmmaker Within
October 15, 2004 by Susan McRae

LOS ANGELES - In one film, a teen describes his efforts to get his mom into a drug rehabilitation program. Another film features a kid who fathered two babies by two girls, and the consequences of his careless actions. The short dramatic pieces were written, directed and acted by youth locked up at Camp Gonzales, one of Los Angeles County's probation facilities, as part of an introductory film program.
